It’s been the proverbial pain at points, but we’re excited to finally be in our new space, down at the spanking Paintworks development here in Bristol.
It’s brilliant to finally be here after a ‘well known’ telecoms company made getting the phone and internet maybe the most stressful experience we’ve ever been through. And thanks to them we also have a new phone number, so for future reference you can find Beef here…

The documentaries at http://mediastorm.org use still photography, music and narrative to tell often moving, always engrossing stories about a variety of subjects, I’m addicted. The Ninth Floor had me utterly wrapped up in the story and the people in it. Shows that a truly interesting story and clear simple images can deliver a heck of an impact.

We’re very excited to be part of this years Light Up Bristol, a project which sees some of Bristol’s finest creatives collaborating to create a seasonal visual spectacle – 400ft wide projections onto the Bristol Council building in the heart of the city.
We got excited when we got some new monitors cause we thought they were big, but 400ft? That really is big.
The event promises to be the highlight of the season with no less than 14 companies submitting pieces based around a Winter Wonderland theme. Alongside the projections there’ll be real snow (yes, real snow), local ales on tap and seasonal favourites like mince pies and mulled wine to keep people cosy. If you’re in town pop down to College Green between the 17th & 21st of December (in the evening obviously!).
Check out some photos of last years event here.

As a little present for our buddies at Bristol Media we built a google map displaying all the members and where they are across the city. It’s searchable, and is linked to the member directory – so it’s an alternative way to search or browse the increasing number of media businesses and individual that our fair city has to offer.
Take a look.

We’re very excited. We’ve been commissioned to launch a major hot chocolate brand online – they’ve never had an online presence for the brand, so it’s great that we’ve been asked to create their first ever site.
We can’t say too much at the moment save to say the initial creative is looking fantastic and the client is over the moon, but come the new year when it’s all launched we’ll be shouting loud about it.
Watch this space.

Our good friends at TRA asked us to redesign some key sections of the Calpol site recently. A big campaign focussing on a new range of night time products meant the website needed some spit and polish to reflect it.
We designed, illustrated and built some Day & Night themed banners and pages along with an interactive medicine cabinet to showcase Calpol products, and wrapped it all up in some lovely CSS templates. Check it out.
